Whats wrong with diablo 2 servers?

I havent played diablo in years so i happened to see the game and installed it, clicked on battlenet and it says " unable to connect to battlenet " so i tried us east and it worked, i played for an hour and signed off.... got back on now us east isnt working eirther it says " Your cd key is currently being used by m-121.mpq " what the hell???? ..... maby its just glitching and us west is currently down im not sure. Anybody no if the servers are down? becuase i never gave anybody my keys and never cheated, those arnt possiable reasons.
