I need some answers here?

is there any way to mod diablo 2 lod in a war like way? you know like make it where there is only one town and your the last one left that can save humanity from total destruction, pitting multiple enemies on one battlefield and just a lone warrior comes to fight the way alone and he fights lower minions, champions and bosses and stuff? i mean like just make a complete war version of the game unlike all the other mods for diablo 2. if anyone can follow with what im saying.....???? and if so then email me and i will respond back. just be sure to use diablo 2 mod as the subject line.
