Is there a game with thousands of items? and you can look for hours trying to find one rare item?

I absolutely loved Diablo 2, reason being I love looking for the rarest of items even if it takes me hours. I guess the game doesn't really have to be an RPG but i do prefer PRG. I don't really like old games older than diablo and i already know about titan quest, torch light and all the obvious. If there is a game you know about that is good but isn't really that known, Please let me know... Thanks!
