I bought fear 1 on steam and got Fear SDK when i click materials then materials folder or any other folder there a globes when i double click them theres a box that says this "There is a shader assigned to this material but it was not able to be properly loaded. Please contact an engineer about resolving this issue." i reinstalled it and got fear combat no luck and yes i loaded FEAR.DEB in the game folder

Why does my computer crash every time I play a game?

OK, so I'm trying to download the latest DirectX SDK so I can play some games but the download is not working. I've tried downloading it multiple times and every time it loads until one point where it just stays there. For example, if it said 35 minutes and 40 seconds left and I leave for an hour, I'll come back and it will still say 35 minutes and 40 seconds left. Then i just close the download and try again only to have this happen again. If anybody could help it would be great.

If you are creating the operating system, there won't be an SDK. You'll essentially be developing the SDK for other developers (unless you want to control the OS features entirely by yourself). You may want to find some books on operating system development. My college degree isn't in computer science, but some of my coworkers did create operating systems in school. They were generally pretty simple (at least by end user standards). They basically built a motherboard and wrote an embedded operating system to make a simple game. To make a mobile operating system, are you working with your own hardware or existing devices? You'll probably want to get the manufacturing specifications so you can figure out how to write your device drivers (especially if you plan to support multiple hardware configurations).

Black ops perk questions.?

Warlord can be kind of hard because of the multi kills. Sleight of hand can be a challenge because of the fast kills after reloading. Light weight you have to get the first bloods and play CTF so if you don't play CTF you're screwed. In a way all of them are hard in their own way due to the specifications needed for the perk. There is no "hardest" perk to get because it mainly depends on your play style. A guy that likes to snipe will get scout alot easier than me because I like to rush but on the other hand I'll most likely get sleight of hand faster than him.

I'm looking for a video game I saw in a video game magazine back in the 90's. I forgot what magazine it was and what system the game was on, but I remember one of the screen shots of a wizard looking fellow slashing a monster's head off with a sword and blood splattering. It had dungeon scenes almost like diablo, but when you fought monsters a blown up view of you facing your opponent would pop up. I think NES or Snes made an edited version without blood, for I remember thinking I found it at a local rental store and being disappointed.

jk bout being a pro but i consider my self decent, im 15th prestige and i currently have a 3.54 win ratio and 2.14 kdr, 2.23 hctd all-time and my score per min. is like 195.30.. i have pleanty of friends that are great or good in this game but im always looking for more to play with. I strive to get better in cod by playing with and against the best, sometimes i even make alternate accounts and join my friends matches to battle against them when they have a full squad of killers.. When i first converted from halo to cod I sucked, 1.10 kd in WAW, but i stepped my game up a lil in MW2 1.43 kd..Now im quiet confident with my stats in blackops part of my improvement has to do with adding more and more solid friends.. Im looking for people to play HCTD with that are good or have the potential to be good like i do, i think good is someone who at least has a 2.50 kd and 200 score per min. please don't answer if your kdr is less than 1.80 or you dashboard to keep your kdr/rank up.. no racist either.. thanks

I did a World of Warcraft trial, and I'm pretty disappointed of how you have to pay 15 dollars a month just to play the game. Am I crazy, or is there more to prestige in Black Ops than what the game says?

I swear that since I have prestiged in COD Black Ops there are things that are different that the game doesn't mention. Improvements that are beyond things that can be attributed to just me getting experience. Like a dramatic tracking motion in the sights when there is an enemy, that I never had before my first prestige. Am I just an idiot or is this something real.

I recently bought Diablo 2 and I installed it on my computer which is a Dell Inspiron 530S running Windows Vista. I put it the play disc but it keeps saying that I have not inserted it. Taking screenshots on the Samsung Galaxy S 4G?

It's the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for T-Mobile, running Froyo 2.2 I can do it with the SDK programs when the phone is connected to the computer, but I want to be able to take a normal screenshot with the phone. "Back + Home" does NOT work on this phone, nor does "Back + power." There HAS to be a way! Anyone know?

About how long will it take me to get to the 15th prestige?

Not sure how long it will take to prestige, because I don't prestige but sam turrets get you lots of xp, using hardline will get you killstreaks 1 kill earlier which will help a lot. Hardline pro also lets you change contents of care package, so if you get lame ammo, you can swap it and maybe get a chopper gunner or sam turret. Also, play headquarters, lots of xp.

Minecraft Modding Problem?

I am trying to install 5 mods on my minecraft thing. 2 are manually. Mods: Mo Creatures, Single Player Commands, Mo Creeps and Weirdos, Pokeball Mod (looks real cool dont judge) and the SDK Gun Mod. The gun mod and pokeball mod require manual installation to the .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar folder and then i use mod manager to do the others. Then when i try to play i get black screen then it crashes. Before i tried to get the mods i deleted the .minecraft folder (force update) and started working on it. Plz help

No you won't, the data is in your xbox 360, you can buy a new black ops cd and you'll be in the same spot as before, but be warned!, black ops is still about $60-$50. I suggest getting one used to save money :) It wouldn't be worth it to spend $120 dollars on just Black Ops, especially since MW3 is coming out in a few months.

i recently purchased the call of duty black ops Prestige edition with the rc xd surveillance car with camera. for the past couple of days since i got it ive been putting new batteries in the car itself but i can never get a full read out from the display on the lcd screen where it shows the remaining battery power in the car, the remote control takes 6 batteries and the car also takes 6 batteries, the remote control is fine that showed 4 full bars for its batteries only today for the first time it went down to 3 bars, when i put in new batteries in the car itself i can never get anymore than 2 and half or 3 bars on the read out. it takes AA batteries, i tried normal energizer batteries and energizer rechargeable batteries, same thing. the energizer rechargeable batteries im using are the ACCU recharge 2450mAh.

you need more RAM. I had the same problem and when I increased my RAM to 1GB it worked much better. It did occasionally crash still, but not near as much. You can also try restarting the emulator, but it may take several attempts before it works.

Now most people would rather hang on to the card everyone wants then to trade it for something that will be hard to trade away again. It's a bad investment in most cases. Also collectors look for bargains rather then paying for the full price of the card. I would just sell them as a lot for $40-50. It's much more easy to find some one to want to find a quick gain then to try to find individual buyers, you would also need to find each cards individual price.

Hi, I want to start learning how to program for the Android but don't know where to start. I have installed the SDK, and did the Hello World Tutorial found on http://developer.android.com/resources/browser.html?tag=tutorial I compiled it to my phone and it worked. But I want to dive into Game Development Tutorials, don't know where to turn for that. After searching the internet for about 2 hours, I have been running around in circles. Theres a lot of engines to choose from, there is AndEngine which is free, there is Corona which is a annual license, and then theres Unity that costs a lot. I'm obviously not a professional, just lookin for a hobby. Do I even have to go with a engine of some sort? I was under the assumption I could just make a game with the SDK alone. I have some questions about modding Minecraft.?

For the majority of mods they will work in an existing world. For SDKs gun mod it usually works. But there is always the chance you mess up your save files or install the mod wrong and get a black screen. So back up your .minecraft folder before modding it. That way you just restore it if anything goes wrong. Worst case scenario you can just erase your .minecraft and re download it to play again. But then you wont have any of your saves.

This happens every time I play and it's starting to really piss me off. About crafting amulets: Diablo 2 LOD?

Yes you can reroll amulets to hopefully get ones with +2 skills. 3amulets can be turned into a ring and 3 rings can be turned into an amulet. It's completely random what you end up with stat-wise but if you're running through stuff just pick up any rings and ammys that drop on the way and have fun rerolling them. The stats you get are based on your characters level so never do this with a low level character as the +2 skills stuff won't roll for them, level 93 is fine though. Good luck!

Help Panasonic Genius Prestige Inverter Microwave plastic behind Lever Came Off?

I have a Luxury-Full Size 2.2 Cu. Ft. Genius Prestige Countertop/Built-In Microwave Oven with Inverter Technology, Stainless and the lever wouldn't open the door. So I opened it up and saw that a small piece had broken off so I fixed it with crazy glue. Thereafter, I tried placing it back on but it will not stay. After pushing the lever to open the door about 10 times, it comes back off though it clicks into place every time I put it back on. Please help me. If you are being shocked then you are the best ground. By moving you are probably moving to a spot that grounds you better. replace the microwave and call an electrician. I downloaded it, I changed my file so it isn't read-only and I could save the characters, I have Hero Editor v1.04 & Diablo II LOD v1.13(latest), but I save the file with the edits, and I open up the game and nothing changed my character...I go back to hero editor, and when I open the file, it shows that it saved it from last time I made changes, yet nothing happens to my character

Uh.. a just plain wizard can do all of that. what is that disguise yourself.. well tehres alter self, disuise self, shapechange.. and a hots of other spells that allows a wizard to do such. and why hide in shadow when youc an just make yourself invisible.It would have been even more amazing if you would have said what edition you are playing, that way I coudl actually give you the info you are looking for rather than just say ' go full wizard" Well I would still say go full wizard, but I would tell you teh feats and spell selection you shoul dhave.

Why does minecraft lags?

i downloaded a minecraft mod called SDK GUN MOD. i downloaded and i can see the guns since i have TOO MANY ITEMS. but for some reason whenever i use the gun it lags so much. the game only lags when i put the bullets in the gun. it doesnt lag when i have a gun with no bullets though. i can drive the ATVs with no problem and throw grenades too. snipers lag but when i use the scope it doesnt lag anymore. please help me. i really like this mod and i dont want to give it up. thanks
